Data Acquisition System - DAS

E-COM uses an universal modular system for data transfers between simulated compartment and the host computer.

DAS ensures a fast information transmission between the control computer of simulator and trainee compartment (single control and communicators).

DAS uses standard commercial connections such as RS485 / 422, CANBUS, USB, WIFI, etc.

DAS contains electronic modules for:

• Digital inputs and outputs
• Analog inputs and outputs
• Incremental encoders
• Stepper motor's controller
• Servomotor's controller
• LCD display's controllers
• Processing and switching of video signals
• Microdisplays control

DAS reduces numbers of connection cables, the base is serial communication line.

E-COM COTS MODULES (BOARDS) characteristics:

• Size typically 100 x 140 mm
• Controlled by internal processor
• Module connected by standardized interfaces
• Controlled by universal SW modules

Testing and diagnostic SW for integration and maintenance.
