E-COM Image Generator SOFTWARE (E-IG)

Image generation in E-COM simulators is based on the E-COM Image generator (E-IG).

The E-COM image generator (E-IG) software is based on the OpenGL(R) architecture. The OpenSceneGraph provides the underlying graphics and graph open source libraries.

The software (E-IG) supports OpenFlight data format which allow the system to visually accommodate a vast number of commercially available databases and model entities.

The typical update rate used in our E-IG is 60Hz for fast moving scenes (e.g. flight simulators) and 30Hz for slow moving scenes with high details (e.g. small arms trainer simulators).

The E-IG has a wide posibility of communication and control interfaces. Following are supported:
